Thanks to everyone who donated to the microphone fund!
We are so appreciative of everyone who contributed to our microphone fund drive. Well over a hundred individuals contributed to help us raise the $10,000 we needed to purchase our dream recording microphone: the Brauner VMA. The new CD's "thanks" section will be the largest by far!
We are incredibly moved by your generosity and faith in what we do. As we've toured the country, we've talked to a lot of people who are scared about money right now. The fact that so many people would contribute at this time in history reaffirms our faith in life and in this delightful project called Girlyman.
We've placed an order for the microphone (they're lovingly hand-made in Germany), and we hope to start putting it to work when we get home from our November tour. Stay tuned to the website and blog for updates and videos showing us in the studio.
